Each week the volunteers for Wakefield End 68 hours of hunger bag up two breakfasts, two lunches, three dinners, milks, fruits and crackers, among other things, to help the food insecure in our school have enough to eat over the weekend. It is through the cash donations from Cindy and Josef Martin, Manny Rogers, Gloria Ballinger, Gail Myers, Annelise and Chip Soares, St. John the Evangelist Church and food donations from Heather L Wilcauskas, Beth Corbet, Walter Hauser, Erin Donnelly, Josef & Cindy Martin, and the Moose Mountain Area Democrats (who consistently drop off food each month) that we are able to provide this service. We are nearing our second anniversary and are having to provide for the most children in our short history, at 26. Thank you to all who have contributed, who volunteer each week (Gloria Ballinger, Cindy Martin, Jan Vanderhoof, George Ackerman, Christine Petto, Mary W. Soares, and those who have helped in the past). We hope your holidays are bright, warm and full of good cheer.
