Three Course Wine Tasting Dinner Raises Money and Awareness for End 68

A wonderful night was had by all as 68 guests got to enjoy a spectacular dinner held at The Barn at Pickering House benefiting the End 68 Hours of Hunger Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, Ossipee, Middleton, NH Chapter. Guests were served by students from Kingswood High School and Brewster Academy, and enjoyed live music, wine provide by Rodney Vermulen of M.S. Walker and the delicious meal prepared by PAVILION’s culinary team.

Peter and Patty Cooke at The Barn at Pickering House and The Pavilion created a spectacular three-course wine-tasting dinner for End 68 Hours of Hunger and Knights Against Hunger. Chef Jon Hudak and staff served an unforgettable meal. The wine provided by MS Walker was memorable, while Arthur Grady’s jazz ensemble, Anything Goes, entertained diners at this sold-out event. The six students from Kingswood High School and Brewster Academy who assisted the serving staff spoke knowledgeably about how End 68 Hours of Hunger and Knights Against Hunger support children in preschool through grade 12 who are in need. The dinner, ambiance, warmth, and musical entertainment made it an evening that the 68 guests will not soon forget. Thank you to all who attended and much appreciation to the Cookes, local businesses, service employees, students and staff for their support.
