Tampa Bay Lightning Honors Community Hero

The founder of End 68 Hours of Hunger in Tampa, Carol LoCicero was honored by the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team as a Community Hero. Carol was introduced at a Lightning game on January 11th and Mr. Vinck, owner of the Lightning, presented Carol with a check for $50,000. We are very excited about being able to expand our program to more schools; right now we have 11 schools and more than 210 students and we have teams of volunteers waiting to help us serve more children. Many of the volunteers that have helped since the beginning in the Spring of 2015 were able to attend the game as well.
Thank you to everyone involved in the Tampa End 68 Hours of Hunger Program for making a difference in your community!
