Pig Roast Fundraiser To Benefit End 68

During 121st Freedom Old Home Week, in Freedom, NH there will be a pig roast on Saturday, Aug. 3, (parade day) between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Freedom ball field. The proceeds from the pig roast will benefit the local End 68 Hours of Hunger program.

The event will be held rain or shine, under a 40-foot-by-60-foot tent with live entertainment. The menu includes whole roast pig, smoked turkey, sides, drinks and strawberry shortcake.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 kids 12 to 16 and children under 12 are free. Music will be provided by up and coming talent Jackson Battles and the Cadillac Cats. Tickets are available by calling Rob or Karen Hatch at (603) 539-6879 or can be purchased daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Bill Gattermann of Crossway Repair, on Cross Road off the Ossipee Lake Road. Hatch would also be happy to take donations to the cause from any who can’t attend. Be sure to get your tickets early to this worthwhile event.
