NH Community Donates 3000 lbs of Items

End 68 Hours of Hunger Northwood Nottingham Strafford & Coe-Brown would like to thank the Northwood, NH community for donating to their summer Savers drive to benefit End 68.

Donations such as clothes, shoes, bedding & housewares are collected for the program. After the donations have been collected, the schools are contacted to see if there are any students who could use clothing. After that, the donations are brought to Savers and we get paid per pound. Then Savers sell it in their store and percentage goes to the Epilepsy Foundation and anything that doesn’t sell is then recycled. So the items actually benefit multiple organizations!

All together the donations added up to over 3000lbs!! This has been our biggest event and we are so thankful to all those who donated and our volunteers. We also want to give a huge shout out to @603storage – northwood who generously donated the unit for the summer. Our community is awesome!
