Building Community One Mural at A Time

Have you have seen the two oft-photographed murals in downtown Durham, NH? Van Claus Designs and Main Street Makery-Durham are planning another one, this time with a twist! This community painting project will raise sorely needed funds for End 68 Hours of Hunger. Many in NH are facing increased food insecurities; our hope is that this creative, collaborative project will help families avoid hunger during these unprecedented times.
Our plan? We are dividing the wall into 2’ x 2’ squares, each to be designed and painted by community members. A donation of $100 will secure a square (more info in the link below.) Perhaps you are local and would like to come and paint a square? Perhaps you’d like to gift one to a friend or family member?
Either way, we hope that you will consider joining us as we generate renewed excitement in our downtown — while raising money to help vulnerable families in our community!
