End 68 Derry/Chester Sees Increased Need

End 68 Hours of Hunger Derry/Chester sees an increased need for their program:
“The demand for our program has increased during this difficult time.
We are now providing 200 bags every week to Derry schools.
Each bag contains roughly 3 dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts and snacks.
The photos below give some sense of the scale of this each week.
None of this would be possible without the kindness and support of the community.
We want to thank everyone who has helped over the last few weeks.
Thank you TD Bank in Derry for running a food drive; Hannaford in Derry for donating bags; thank you to the Chester General Store for collecting monetary donations for us; a big thank you also to the individuals who gave us very generous donations.
We are also grateful for our volunteers from Deja Vu, Londonderry who help with food pick up each week and the Derry Village Rotary Club who have donated and also handle deliveries for us.
This program is truly only possible with the generosity of the businesses and volunteers that provide such important support. Thank you!”
